I am so glad Gabriella is a morning-person aka early-bird, because it inspires me to do the same. Me, being awake at 9:45am working during the summer is almost a miracle. Trying to tighten up some of our language and hopefully get some coffee and other awesome things percolating.

But, realizing that she is an early-bird and I am a night-owl brought forth a lot of really good thinking about the dynamics of our friendship/partnership/collective. The fact that she naturally wakes up when I am finally going to bed is just the tip of the iceberg.

AH! So many great opportunities coming from our glorious city. I love being a part of this community and I cant wait to make my mark by doing something that brings the wonderful, diverse people of Houston closer to their local arts. I have been thinking a lot about the tons people that live in this city and the push some might need to come into their local museums and art venues. Hopefully we can come up with something! I am so excited to work with the fab Chanelle, a girl after my own heart, a fellow houstonian, artsygirl and curator, just trying to bring the art to the people.
